Queen Victoria's Palace by the Sea on the beautiful Isle of Wight
Delight in the splendour of Queen Victoria's palace by the sea. The rich opulence of the state rooms mixes with the intimacy of the family apartments, where England's formerly longest reigning monarch lived with her large family and beloved Prince Albert. Take a glimpse into the Royal family's private lives. Wonder at the exquisite décor and furnishings. Imagine life for the servants below stairs in the Table Deckers Room. Visit the famous "Swiss Cottage" - the Royal children's play chalet. Stroll the delightful gardens with hot-houses full of exotic plants. Enjoy stunning views across the Solent from the Queens private beach. Take a carriage tour around the ground (not included).
There is a restaurant, cafe, snack bar and ice cream parlour available for your food and drink requirements - or you can bring a picnic to enjoy in the grounds.
Our journey to The Isle of Wight includes an hours cruise along Southampton Water and across The Solent with Red Funnel Ferries - a chance to relax, enjoy the waterside scenery and views of other shipping from the bar or take a break in the on-board cafe/restaurant.
