1. How safe is my money

Bluebird Coaches (Weymouth) Ltd are members of the Bonded Coach Holiday Group of the Confederation of Passenger Transport UK Ltd. This is a government approved consumer protection scheme. This ensures that in relation to the coach package holidays described on this website and in our brochure that the client's monies are protected by a Bond which may be called upon in the unlikely event of the member's insolvency. Clients are recommended to inspect the current membership certificate at our registered office or alternatively go to www.bch.uk.org or telephone 0207 240 3131 to confirm current membership. Your attention is also drawn to the Bonded Coach Holiday Group Trading Charter that will apply to these coach package holidays.

2. Where do we pick-up for our holidays

All holidays may be joined within our Dorset catchment. Many intermediate villages are also served and we will consider picking up out of this are for group bookings. In order to ensure the most effective route and to avoid lengthy pickups, we do not publish an advance schedule of timings. However, we shall endeavor to arrange a point as convenient to your home as possible and will inform you of this arrangement within 2 weeks of departure.

3. Pick-up times

As a rough guide the following start times are inferred:
"Very early" 00:01 to 04:00
"Early" 04:00 to 06:00
"Morning" 06:00 onwards

4. How do I choose my seat for my holiday

You choose your seat at time of booking and keep the same seat for the duration of your holiday.

5. What deposit is required for my holiday

A deposit of £50.00 per person is requires to confirm a reservation.

6. Is my deposit for my holiday refundable

Please be aware that deposits are non-refundable nor transferable but may be covered by a travel insurance policy for peace-of-mind.

7. What confirmation will I received when I book a holiday

We will issue a confirmation within 7 days of receiving your deposit.

8. What paperwork will I receive when I made a holiday booking

You will receive a full booking confirmation. A full tour itinerary will be provided at time of booking.

9. When is my payment of balance due for my holiday due

The Balance of the tour price will be due for settlement not less than 8 weeks before departure and this date will be shown on your confirmation invoice.

10. Are reminders sent for the balance of my holiday

Reminders are not sent so we ask that you note this date carefully. However, should you forget we will contact you via telephone with a polite reminder.

11. Where do we pick up for my day trip

We pick up along a designated route which varies slightly depending on the destination - please see individual day trip for full details. However if you do not see a pickup in your area please contact the office to discuss your requirements.

12. How do I choose my seat for my day trip

You choose your seat at time of booking and keep the same seat for the duration of the day.

15. What is included on an executive specification coach

" On-board toilet/washroom
" Hot & cold drink facility

" Air-suspension with "kneeling facility" (drop level of first step to assist boarding)

16. How many additional pick-ups / set-downs points am I allowed for my private hire

All pick-ups / set-downs must be agreed prior to the hire taking place. This does not have to be confirmed at time of booking, however we do require them no less than 1 week prior to travel. You are able to have as many pick-ups / set-downs as you require. Please note any additional pick-ups / set-downs added after our quotation has been accepted may require an additional charge if the mileage and hire time is affected.

17. How do I confirm a private hire booking

Bookings can be confirmed via telephone, email, post or fax.

18. What happens when I confirm my private hire booking

A full booking confirmation will be issued with a unique booking reference. Booking confirmations will be emailed or posted. Please double check all details and notify us if there are any changes.

19. Do I have to pay a deposit for my private hire

No deposit required.

20. When do I have to pay for my private hire

Full payment 1 week prior to travel. If you have an account with us we will invoice you once the hire has taken place. Payment terms range from 7 - 30 days. Terms of trade will be agreed at time of booking.

24. What qualification do your drives have

All our drivers hold qualifications in customer care and safeguarding - they will take good care of your group and afford flexibility and co-operation to ensure your arrangements run as smoothly as possible.

25. What is the Bluebird Travel Club

Bluebird travel club gives passengers the opportunity to collect rewards and redeem them against future travel with us - the more you ride the more you save. Passengers can collect Bluebird tamps on a Free Travel Card every time they ride on our coach - our driver will reward 1 stamp on a day trip, and 2 stamps on a holiday.
Collect 10 stamps and you can claim a £30.00 discount on your next booking.

The Confederation of Passenger Transport UK (CPT) is the trade assocaition representing Britain's coach and bus operators. CPT is recognised by the Government and is the focus for consultation and negotiation on national and international legislation, local regulation, operation pratices and engineering standards.
