Explore one of West Londons free museums which include the National History, Science and the V&A. Also Close by is West Kensington Station.
A Day trip to London with the opportunity to visit the famous (and FREE to enter!) Museums on Kensington - or simply use that as a dropping point to explore further into Central London using the excellent public transport network. (South Kensington tube station is just 5 mins walk).
We anticpate about a 6 hour stay - arriving around 12noon and leaving at 6pm.
A slimmed down number of picking up points and non-stop route means a quicker run from Dorset into the capital - maximising your time there.
Be aware that if you intend to visit any of the museums you are recommended to pre-book your FREE entry time slot in advance to be sure of gaining access on the day as sometimes numbers are limited: Each museum can be booked in advance on-line and the websites also give access to gallery guides, changing exhibitions and maps for information. There are sometimes special events and exhibitions held within the museums that might incur an admission charge - see museum websites for details.
