ITINERARY
Monday - Early afternoon pick-ups around Dorset to arrive Bournemouth about 3pm with a welcome cuppa and porterage of bags. After settling in enjoy dinner in the restaurant followed by Christmas Eve festive entertainment.
Tuesday - Christmas Day: After breakfast collect your Christmas quiz sheets at reception and get thinking. Late morning join the coach for a scenic tour around the beautiful New Forest - visit the best viewpoints, prettiest villages, colourful heaths and forest drives and learn about the unusual local traditions and history. Return to the hotel where you are treated to a traditional Christmas dinner with all the trimmings followed by dancing in the lounge and evening entertainment.
Wednesday - Boxing Day: After breakfast another quiz sheet is available at reception. The day is at your leisure to stroll along the cliff top and promenade, maybe exploit Bournemouth's shops, visit the Russell Cotes Museum nearby or relax in the hotels pool and sauna. At 3:30pm sherry and Christmas cake is served with a guess the weight of the cake competition. Then it's eyes-down for Bingo! Another delicious dinner in the restaurant is followed by more festive entertainment.
Thursday - New Years Eve: Breakfast. Hand in your quiz sheets by 12 noon - winners announced at dinner. 2pm to 4pm a tea dance with mince pies and a festive entertainer. At 5pm a free bucks-fizz helps start the New Year celebrations in the lounge. Dinner in the restaurant is followed by entertainment - fancy dress is optional if you have a costume.
Friday - New Year's Day: After breakfast we bid a fond farewell to our hosts and head homewards, returning by lunch-time.
