An arboreal display of gold, copper, purple and red - we contrast these horticultural highlights with 2 canal cruises to enjoy pretty villages and architectural wonders.
Welcome to Lancashire, a county of contrasting landscapes from rolling hills to windswept moors, broad river valleys and extensive waterways. Nestled within are hidden gems of cultivation that provide spectacular richness of colour at this special time of year when the leaves start to tumble with an arboreal display of gold, copper, purple and red. A highlight of this tour must be RHS Bridgewater the newest RHS garden to open and one constantly evolving with lush seasonal planting over 154 acres. Contrasting the horticultural highlights we take to the Lancashires canal network and enjoy constantly changing views of pretty villages and architectural wonders during two barge cruises.

We shall stop at Browsholme Hall where a 2 acre wilderness garden in the shape of the Union Flag is being restored to its former glory.
