We understand that a Christmas holiday has to be something a bit special to do justice to this magical time of year. This is a traditional British Christmas with all the expected trimmings, entertainment, congenial company and a programme of sightseeing to fully appreciate your surroundings. Our selected venue in St Agnes, Cornwall is a Bluebird favourite and has laid on a special festive celebration that will leave you with treasured memories of a Christmas that you always imagined it should be.
ITINERARY
Monday (23rd) - Morning departure from Dorset, we pause at Buckfast Abbey where lunch is obtainable. Continue to St Agnes this afternoon where you will receive a warm welcome. After settling in meet in the bar at 7pm for a glass of sherry. Dinner is accompanied by carol singers in the restaurant, then later we shall be serenaded by Paula, a talented female vocalist.
Tuesday (24th) - Christmas Eve: After breakfast we shall visit Truro to see the magnificent cathedral and catch up on last minute Christmas shopping. Back at the hotel there is a Happy Hour in the bar at 6pm - cheers! After dinner entertainment features music from the 50s, 60s and 70s with Stevie D.
Wednesday (25th) - Christmas Day: Merry Christmas! After breakfast you can open your presents and enjoy a short stroll around the village to hone your appetite. Santa is in the bar at 12:30 with a gift for everyone. At 1pm a traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings. At 3pm watch the Kings speech. A lighter buffet supper is provided this evening. Another helping of entertainment with Ronnie at 9pm - Party & games night.
Thursday (26th) - Boxing Day: We shall visit St Ives whose gaily coloured cottages seem to tumble over each other down into the sea. At 12noon there is a traditional Boxing Day swim from Porthminster Beach - brave souls and lunatics raise money for charity. Back at the hotel this afternoon we shall enjoy a Cornish Cream Tea. A farewell evening dinner is followed by melodies from vocalist Johnny.
Friday (27th) - We head homewards with maybe a few extra pounds of weight onboard. A short stop at Otter nursery to view the Christmas displays. Return to Dorset late that afternoon.

A family run hotel set in four acres of secluded gardens and woodlands in the quaint village of St Agnes – this elegant Queens Anne residence dates back to the 1780s. Extensively refurbished and upgraded the three star standard, you are assured a comfortable stay with attentive and friendly service. All bedrooms are individually decorated and provide private bathroom, central heating, colour television and tea tray. Three comfortable lounges and a well stocked bar provide space for relaxation and wifi is available. The “Tom Noggi” restaurant is very highly regarded and offers a varied menu using fresh local ingredients. A programme of festive entertainment is included.
