We understand that a Christmas holiday has to be something a bit special to do justice to this magical time of year. This is a traditional British Christmas with all the expected trimmings, cruise ship themed entertainment and amazing leisure facilities. Set sail around the world with this new introduction to our programme – lots of fun on-board our land-based Lancashire cruise hotel. The winds are fair and sea conditions calm as we take you on a journey around the world with live music, cabaret and dancing. Prizes will be given for the best dressed in the theme of each night and a best Christmas pullover competition.

ITINERARY
Wednesday 23rd - Morning departure from Dorset via motorways with stops as appropriate to arrive Southport that afternoon. On arrival your cruise staff will assist with boarding and provide mince pies with a welcome drink. Settle into your luxury "cabin" before dinner is served. Tonight we set sail for the waters of the Caribbean so come dressed for the occasion - tropical shirts and skirts. A quiz or bingo will feature, followed by music and dancing.
Thursday 24th - Christmas Eve: Morning visit to Oswaldtwistle Mills, a former Victorian weaving mill now housing over 100 retailers including fashion, lifestyle, deli, gifts and more - stay for lunch. Back at the hotel this afternoon there is bingo, competitions or a quiz to enjoy. This evening our ship arrives in Germany where dinner will be Bavarian themed, so enjoy the singing,cheering and dancing with a Bavarian Band. It is possible to join midnight mass at a local church - taxi fare at your own cost.
Friday 25th - Christmas Day: After breakfast you can open your presents and enjoy a short walk on the prom. to hone your appetite. Our ship docks in England today. Carol singing with your cruise director - join in and belt out your favourite! A traditional Christmas Day meal with all the trimmings is presented at lunchtime. After the Kings speech enjoy a quiz or bingo and free raffle. This evening dinner is a lighter buffet affair. Entertainment is "The Best of British" with one of the countries top cabaret artistes.
Saturday 26th - Boxing Day: An opportunity to make the most of the hotels superb location with a chance to explore the town and its many attractions - the landmark iron pier, wide promenade and attractive shopping streets lined with glorious historic Victorian architecture to name a few. There will be competitions, bingo or quiz held during the afternoon. Our ship docks in Las Vegas today and after an American themed dinner we shall be treated to entertainment by an American Legend tribute act. A visit to Vegas wouldn't be authentic without a casino - but tonight we bet with fake money so no losers.
Sunday 27th - Our ship docks back in the UK and we disembark to join the coach for our homewards journey to arrive back in Dorset early evening.

Park Hall Hotel Chorley – originally advertised in our brochure. This hotel has been found not to be suitable for this holiday following a series of administrative problems and quality control issues.

Escape the ordinary at this fantastic 4 star hotel which is situated overlooking Southport’s marine lake with views out to sea – what could be more appropriate for a Mock Cruise themed holiday? The newly reopened Waterfront is an exceptional 4 star hotel boasting luxurious rooms and outstanding facilities. Bedrooms provide private bathroom with free toiletries, hairdryer, TV with movie channel, phone, controlled heating/air-con, iron, seating, tea tray and are accessible by lift. The stylish restaurant serves an extensive breakfast and evening dinners will be themed according to each country we visit on our “cruise” – while you take in stunning waterside views. Free wifi is available throughout and there is a fitness room for the energetic. A traditional Christmas Lunch is included on Christmas Day.
