One of the first countries to attract visitors purely for pleasure - it is not hard to understand why. We shall visit the High Alpine and Lake District regions and the architectural wonders of Salzburg
Austria was one of the very first countries to attract visitors purely for pleasure and it is not hard to understand why. Its enchanting lakes and mountains are just about as close to perfection as is possible! Awe inspiring landscapes offer sweeping glacier views, picture-postcard scenes of snow capped mountains, clear blue lakes and rolling green alpine meadows. Our base in St Johann places us perfectly to enjoy both the Grossglocker High Alpine Pass and the Salzkammergut Lake District two must-see regions that display natures grandeur in all its glory. We shall contrast the spectacular natural environment with the cultural and architectural wonders in the city of Salzburg a city of outstanding value to humanity so considered by UNESCO.
