Adam Henson's father Joe founded the Cotswold Farm Park in 1971 to help to protect some of the rare breeds of farm animals. Adam is proud to continue in his wellington-booted footprints and is passionate about delivering the best of Britsh farming through a sustainable and authentic approach. The park now houses 50 flocks and herds of different animals displayed through its "Rare Breeds Through History" trail. Walking around the paddocks you can hear commentary by Adam, explaining the various breeds places in British farming. If the weather turns wet there are plenty of indoor attractions including a Play Barn and Pets Corner. You can tour the paddocks on the covered Tractor Safari, or choose to walk around them and listen to the commentary points.
There is a takeaway serving everything from homemade cakes and sandwiches to hot jacket potatos - or you could bring a picnic to enjoy in the grounds.
