Escape to one of England’s most unspoilt and unchartered regions – the large county of Lincolnshire is second only in size to Yorkshire. A county of great diversity with its rolling hills and a whole host of  landmarks and destinations – it is full of surprises and interest. Foodies will be catered for and could indulge in such well known local delicacies as Lincolnshire Sausages, Lincolnshire Poacher Cheese, Lincolnshire Plum Bread and Grimsby smoked fish to name a few.  The term “Linconlshire Yellow-belly” originated from an old folk tale that describes if anyone born in Lincolnshire who slept with a shilling on their stomach, it would turn gold by morning!
