Step into the famous BBC TV series at Hilton Swindon, where dinner and internationally acclaimed theatre combine. Based on the comedy series written by John Cleese in the 1970’s you will immerse yourself in the magic of Basil, Sybil and Manuel. Three talented impersonators bring the madcap melee of Torquay’s most inept hoteliers to the restaurant while you tuck in to your 3-course dinner. Comedy reigns from the moment you arrive for your meal, as much loved characters greet, seat and serve you. Expect surprises throughout, as only one-third of the show is scripted meaning anything could happen – a sparkling original tribute to one of the greatest shows ever to appear on TV.
ITINERARY
Sunday - Morning departure from Dorset, we shall pause in delightful Marlborough for lunch. With its unspoilt charm, famous wide High Street, narrow alleyways, riverside parks and ancient buildings it has been a popular stop-off since the days of coach and horse. Resume to Swindon this afternoon and after checking in brace yourself for this evenings experience. Performed by a Basil look-a-like and his team of Sybil and Manuel, you'll be caught up in their riotous antics while you try to enjoy your 3 course meal - difficult with such distractions. A joyous and hilarious tribute - expect chaos, laughs and a brilliant night.
Monday - After breakfast visit the spa city of Bath, an elegant city full of heritage, contemporary culture, green spaces and a few surprises. It's compact visitor friendly centre is overflowing with places to eat, drink and shop. Its honey coloured architecture is straight out of a Jane Austen novel and a joy to explore. Leave Bath early afternoon to drive back to Dorset
