ITINERARY


SUNDAY - Early morning departure from Dorset and through South Wales to Pembroke. Join the afternoon ferry to Rosslare and stay overnight at Dooley's Hotel, Waterford

MONDAY - Travel across Ireland visiting the historic port of Cobh in County Cork en-route to Killarney.

TUESDAY - Full day tour of "The Ring of Kerry". An unforgettable day of breathtaking scenery dominated by the McGillycuddy Reaks Mountains with plenty of interest for lovers of folklore and history. It has some of Europe's finest deserted beaches, an ancient heritage and landscapes carved by ice age glaciers.

WEDNESDAY - A day at leisure in Killarney to explore the town, its heritage and cultural attractions and discover the warm welcome of its people. Maybe join a horse-drawn jaunting car trip into the National Park.

THURSDAY - Tour the Dingle Peninsula - cited as "The most beautiful place on Earth" by National Geographic magazine. Rich in ruined fortresses, ancient sites, traditional buildings and craft centres it is formed by a mountainous spine stretching 30 miles out into the Atlantic Ocean.

FRIDAY - From Killarney to Cahir, with its magnificent castle and the Rock of Cashel, seat of the ancient Kings of Ireland. Overnight at Dooley's Hotel, Waterford.

SATURDAY - Morning ferry from Rosslare to Fishguard (breakfast onboard). Driving back to Dorset to arrive home early evening.
