A small programme of light evening entertainment is included to brighten your stay and complement an extensive excursions programme. ITINERARY
FRIDAY - Morning departure from Dorset to Buckfast Abbey with time for lunch. Later drive over Bodmin Moor then on to St Agnes. After settling in dinner is served in the restaurant.
SATURDAY - A wonderful day of sightseeing via Porthleven a popular resort that offers art galleries, shops and tearooms clustered around a pretty harbour. Then to St Ives, whose gaily coloured stone cottages appear to tumble over each other down to the sea. Back at the hotel following your evening dinner you will be entertained by a local talented musician.
SUNDAY - Morning visit to Trebah Gardens, a sub-tropical paradise with a stunning coastal backdrop - the result of 160 years of inspired and dedicated creation. A Cornish valley garden bursting with exotic blooms and vibrant tunnels of colour that cascade down to a private beach. This afternoon visit Falmouth, a busy port with charming mix of shops, museums and galleries.
Following dinner a light hearted in-house quiz may entertain you this evening.
MONDAY - Morning at leisure in pretty little St Agnes. Afternoon visit the the Cornish Gold Centre, an exhibition of Cornish mining based around an ancient tin mill with the ingenious machines and processes that exploited the county's mineral wealth. After dinner this evening there is music and song.
TUESDAY - Morning visit to Padstow, the sleepy and picturesque port with quaint cottages and crooked streets. Afternoon visit to Truro, the capital of Cornwall and one blessed with great history, architecture, attractions and pockets of greenery that come alive with Autumn colour.
WEDNESDAY - Homeward bound with a stop in Tavistock. Leaving after lunch to drive back across Dartmoor to arrive Dorset by late afternoon.

A family run hotel set in four acres of secluded gardens and woodlands in the quaint village of St Agnes – this elegant Queen Anne residence dates back to the 1780s. Extensively refurbished and upgraded to three star standard, you are assured a comfortable stay with attentive and friendly service. Three comfortable lounges and a well stocked bar provide space for relaxation and wifi is available.
