THE CHARM OF CORNWALL
5 Day Break
Monday 20th to Friday 24th October

St Agnes, the very essence of the Poldark novels, the images, feelings and history that they draw upon are found here. Often described as a friendly retreat, its people have a strong sense of history and a great love of home – perhaps it is this pervading warmth that affects those who stay here. With the lee of St Agnes Beacon for a pillow and it’s feet in the sea, St Agnes lies in the heather like an old country giant. Founded on tin mining and now a gentile seaside resort it evokes times when values and fortunes were different. Cornwall’s rich heritage has an international reputation – 5,000 years of history surrounds you at every turn. Set against a backdrop of stunning landscapes this tour immerses you in the whole Cornish experience.
ROSEMUNDY HOUSE HOTEL, St. Agnes A family run hotel set in four acres of secluded gardens and woodlands within the quaint village of St Agnes, this elegant Queen Anne Residence dates back to the 1780s.
