Manhattan Hotel, BLACKPOOL

A prime situation right on the seafront and just five minutes walk from the town centre means there is always plenty to do in and around the Manhattan.  All of the guest bedrooms are tastefully decorated, well furnished and airy, and all offer private bathroom, tea/coffee tray and television.  There is a lift to all floors, residents bar, games room and entertainment is provided on some evenings.  The hotel has proved popular with previous Bluebird guests, and although only officially rated as 2 star standard it provides comfortable accommodation and excellent standards of service with a friendly welcome.

Monday – Morning departure to Blackpool.

Inclusive Excursions during your stay -

• Time at leisure.  An opportunity to explore the delights of the Pleasure Beach with its “white knuckle” rides, take your seats for one of the countless shows, stroll the promenade, or enjoy any other number of diverse attractions this town has to offer. 

• An evening tour of the Illuminations.

• Morning excursion to Oswaldtwistle Mills near Accrington – former weavers sheds converted to a unique visitor attraction with a surprise around every corner; Cafes, Victorian Arcade; Museum; Painting studio; Sweet factory, Time-tunnel; Shopping and much more.  Later that afternoon we shall be joined by a local guide who will take us on a tour of Pendle Witch Country – admire the magnificent scenery and hear tales of times gone by.

• A morning drive to Fleetwood Market – bargain hunters paradise!

Later to the famous B&M Discount Store at Cleveleys.

Friday – Leave Blackpool after breakfast for homeward journey.
