Based in Silvertown East London, Brick Lane Music Hall is the only surviving music hall in the country and is uniquely housed in a converted Victorian Church. Once ushered inside by courteous liveried doormen it is as though you have stepped back in time – into a place that’s as warm as an old East-end boozer yet as plush as the finest city centre playhouse. In place of pews, the nave is filled with dining tables and chairs and lit by chandeliers – old playbills and photos adorn the walls – plush red velvet curtains hang in front of what was once the altar. With an atmosphere second to none, Brick Lane Music Hall offers a magnificent theatrical experience and their "Pantomime for grown-ups" is packed with slapstick humour and gaudy costumes. Filled with camp innuendo, mucky sing-song and topical gags it is a glorious production that encourages the obligatory audience participation – ready with the "He’s behind you!" everybody. This memorable evening includes a three course dinner and dancing until late.

FRIDAY – Morning departure from Dorset to London with time to admire the Oxford Street Christmas displays and take lunch. Mid-afternoon transfer to Docklands and check-in to our hotel. Time to settle-in, maybe take a short stroll around the rejuvenated Docklands area with its bustling business, café and shopping scene. For the energetic there is time to take advantage of the extensive leisure facilities which include a gym, sauna and steam room. This evening make the short drive to Silvertown and the famous Brick Lane Music Hall - Doors open 6:30 pm with time for a drink at the bar. A three course dinner is served at 7:30 pm – by candlelight and in truly gracious surroundings.  After dinner enjoy a riotous performance of the famous "pantomime for grown-ups" Big Dick Whittington – you will laugh until it hurts! Later enjoy dancing until midnight, whereupon our coach will return you to the hotel.

SATURDAY – After a leisurely breakfast drive to the Bluewater Shopping Centre at Thurrock, the largest indoor shopping centre in Europe with over 330 shops and restaurants – it is sure to get your Christmas Shopping off to a flying start!  Stay for 4 hours – return to Dorset that evening.
