The beautiful Wye Valley is Border Country - fought over for centuries  by the English and Welsh. The great primeval Royal Forest of Dean  is a fairy tale Queen of Forests where witches live, miners are free and sheep have badgers (your knowledgeable local guide will explain all of this to you!).  With wonderful scenery all day, a River Wye boat cruise  and tea and homemade shortbread  included this is a great day out with ony a small amount of walking involved. Fully escorted by a qualified guide whose expert knowledge of the area will reveal the stories and quirky history that only to locals know.
