Colesbourne Park is located near Cheltenham in The Cotswolds and displays massed plantings of many rare and beautiful Snowdrop varieties that usher in Spring.

Ten acres of beautifully landscaped grounds in The Cotswolds, with walks through the woods and alongside the famous blue lake, a new Spring garden and formal garden. The surrounding park with its arboretum of interesting trees and nearby church are also open to visitors.  Colesbourne Park dates back to 1789 and has been progressively landscaped over generations – a major restoration commenced in 2003 and is on-going. It now presents what is probably the “Greatest Snowdrop display in England”, with massed plantings of many rare varieties. Our exclusive visit includes an introductory talk and guided walk led by the owner, Sir Henry Elwes, his wife Lady Carolyn and the Head gardener Shane Bell. The event brings you closer to the unique history of the garden and the amazing diversity of snowdrop varieties – an unmissable event to usher in Spring. You will be fortified with delicious homemade cakes and tea/coffee after the garden tour.
