Once at the very heart of Britain's industrial revolution and now providing opportunities to get out on the water

This interesting tour covers the network of waterways that developed in Cheshire during the industrial revolution in order to transport raw materials.  As a consequence the region has been bequeathed a rich legacy of heritage attractions, delightful waterside settings, flotillas of historic boats and magnificent Victorian architecture. Set against a backdrop of stunning scenery the canals and riverways of Cheshire were once at the very heart of Britain’s industrial revolution and now provide opportunities aplenty to get out on the water.
