KEW BRIDGE STEAM MUSEUM

Built in the 19th century to supply London with water, the museum is recognised as the most important historic sites of water supply in Britain. Marvel at the world’s largest collection of steam pumping engines - many are operated using live steam – including the magnificent Grand Junction 90 inch beam engine – the largest single cylinder engine in the World! Ride on London’s only steam railway – a narrow gauge line that used to haul coal from the river barges.
