Explore the River Exe Estuary from two differing perspectives – sailing from the ancient port of Topsham we first travel down river accompanied by an informative commentary of the waterside sights, wildlife and history.  Later that afternoon return by scheduled train on the “Avocet Line” which gives lovely scenic views not available to road passengers.  The day allows nearly four hours at leisure in Exmouth – one of the oldest holiday resorts in Europe with a two mile seafront and bustling town centre.  Also included is entry to the Great Exmouth Model Railway Exhibition – the World’s largest “OO” gauge layout that cannot fail to fascinate – over 14 years in the making!
