Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff RailwayOne of the few water powered railways in the World linking the two towns with a vertical drop of 500 feet dont look down! Stunning views of Lynmouth Bay on the descent.
Lynton & Barnstaple RailwayThe legendary narrow-gauge line running through glorious Devon countryside from the delightful Woody Bay station an on-going restoration project. Short but oh so sweet!

Drive by coach to Lynton. 12:40 Cliff Railway to Lynmouth. Time for sights and lunch. 14:30 Cliff Railway back to Lynton. Drive by coach to Woody Bay Station by 15:00. 15:15Train on L&BR to Killington Lane and return. Stop for tea at Taunton Deane Services M5 on way home - 45 mins Return to Dorchester 1930 Weymouth 1950 Portland 2015.
